Gastronomy

Switzerland is the country with the largest number of gastronomic restaurants per person. In 2014 there are 110 restaurants in the Michelin guide and 860 restaurants in the Gault&Millau guide.  Everyone can find a restaurant for their taste, without forgetting the national cuisine – cheese fondue or raclette.

Wine in Switzerland is an important part of the gastronomical culture.  Almost 80 types of vines are cultivated and most of them are unique and not known outside of the country.  I can offer personal advice regarding the different wines and visits to the vineyards, including wine tasting.
